Spring Break Progress

Sat, 04/06/2013 - 11:38pm

Easter Eggs are still ongoing. This past week was spring break, which meant that I had a lot of opportunity to get some animation done. The plan was actually to get the Easter Eggs done by now, but as you can no doubt tell from the tone of this post, that hasn't happened yet. While I had a lot of time to animate, I chose to use that time doing schoolwork/not doing anything at all. A little bit of Sumwhere work happened, but not as much as I would have hoped.

Progress: Easter Eggs

Mon, 03/18/2013 - 5:59pm

Hey Sumwhuts!

So as Sean has informed you, we do these things called easter eggs at the end of every (or so) episode. They are accessed by clicking on the words "the end," and they usually are just some inconsequential joke or scene that references or continues a story present in the episode. Check them out if you've never seen any of them!

Feature: The Ahh Guy

Not a lot of people pay much attention to The Ahh Guy. He's in every episode. Brogan isn't in The Diotic Ragabash, and Colin isn't in Cool Platypus, so he's almost more of a main character than some of the main characters. So, who is this stick figure silently screaming in Sumwhere?

Update: New Easter eggs in the works!

If you didn't already know, at the end of some episodes, we hide a little bit of extra content, usually in the form of a scene. However, The Pranksters Come to Town and All You Eat is Love have Easter eggs that were written in the script but were never animated by Harrison. Hopefully, by next week, that will all change.

New Episode: All You Eat is Love

Finally, after many delays and slaps, the new episode is finally here. We think it's pretty good, and we hope you do, too. If the name didn't make it obvious, this is a continuation of the Pat-Sarah season-long arc we're trying to do. Will they get
together by the end? Won't they? We don't know.

Once More, with Slapping

That one hurt even more than the first time. And for those of you who think that these were staged, they were not. The pain in my face can attest to that. This slap made me see lights.

The episode will be up sometime on Sunday. I am NOT making this into a trilogy of getting slapped.

Good news and bad news

Who saw this coming? We need to delay the episode again, but this time, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We would have gotten it done sooner, but Harrison spent more time studying for exams than he thought he would, so I guess he chose to be smart instead of be awesome.

Happy Slapentine's Day

So, you know how I said that the episode would be done today? Well, something got in the way. You know what got in the way? Physics homework got in the way, that's what.

Needless to say, I got slapped in the face pretty good by Brogan, as evidenced by the video above. Watch it. It's pretty hilarious.

All you Eat is Love should be up by next Friday 2/22/13.

- Harrison

My face still hurts.

Valentines Day Release

So here it is. The last delay, I promise. You can tell I'm serious because I made a poster:

So there. If it's not up for Valentine's Day, Sean will slap me. And we will film it for your enjoyment. (I won't let that happen.)

See you soon!

-Harrison

More Unjust Delays

Jeez guys. I really suck. Let's see. This episode is still being silly at me and taking longer than it should. So we're going to be mean again and push back the release date AGAIN to the end of January. (This might change to early February.)

But as compensation Sean and I have decided to put up the very first episode I ever animated. All the way back in middle school. Dear god. I just watched it and it's even worse than I remember. Just remember folks, we were only 14 years old.
